It can be difficult for businesses to carry on as normal under the current circumstances. Considering we’re still in the midst of a global pandemic, you may be wondering how your business can thrive and not be held back by all the lockdown measures put in place by the government.
Although, for many companies, keeping up normal operations is difficult at the moment, mainly because many services are closed, CRO continue to help businesses during these challenging times.
Document Delivery
With so many businesses shut down, including government ones, you may not be able to submit the documentation your company needs. In addition, even though some services remain open, they may be too far away for you, especially considering travelling should be kept to a minimum at the moment.
The only Companies House still open in the UK in is Cardiff, but don’t worry – we’ll help you to fill out key documents, then we’ll print them and deliver them to the branch. This way, you don’t have to worry about your company missing out important deadlines, for example.
In addition, if you’re planning on starting a company now, we can get it registered for you easily, so don’t put your business on hold.
Company Formation
Because we’re still able to deliver to Companies House, we can continue helping you with your company formation. Setting up a limited company offers a wealth of benefits to your business, for instance tax advantages, as well as allowing you to be your own boss.
If you’re looking to set up a company, CRO can assist. We make sure that your company is properly established and registered and can even find out whether your chosen name is available or whether you need to change because of legal reasons.
You only need to have your company name on hand, as well as the address, director information and shareholder information, and we’ll assist you in the completion of your registration. This is an easy and quick process, so you shouldn’t postpone it until ‘things return to normal’, since there is no reason to wait.
Winding Up Searches
CRO are still providing a normal service for winding up searches. We’ll check on a company name at the Insolvency and Companies List to find out whether there are any pending winding-up petitions registered against that company. The searches continue to be delivered within 30 minutes during the court opening hours of 10am to 4:30pm.
Full Insolvency Reports
This service combines Winding Up Searches, The Gazette and a Companies House Check. CRO are able to continue as normal when it comes to Full Insolvency Reports, with all searches still delivered within 30 minutes during the court opening hours of 10am to 4:30pm, as mentioned.
International Reports and Registry Documents
Another service that has remained largely unaffected by the worldwide COVID-19 crisis is CRO’s ability to provide International searches. This means we can deliver reports as normal as well. We’re doing our best to ensure that our clients can continue their normal operations, so let us know if you require this or any other service we provide.
Litigation Searches
Although we are not able to visit any courts in person, given the restrictions brought about by the pandemic, this service is still largely unaffected. This means we can continue to provide litigation checks against a company name at the High Court of Justice (we cover England and Wales), and can provide details that are then handled at The Business and Property Courts and Queen’s bench Division of the High Court.
Court Docket Services
We continue to provide Court Docket Services, which means we receive alerts when a keyword or company name appears at specific courts. You can search for cases and monitor them for claims or any other public filings as well.
Searches on Individuals
CRO can carry on offering Searches on Individuals too. The reports we generate for our clients remain largely unaffected; however, in regard to High Court Bankruptcy checks, we are not able to search the legacy system at the Rolls Building.
CRO are ideally situation to ensure that, no matter the challenge your business faces, it can still carry on as normal as possible. We’re still offering a range of services that you can benefit from, so contact us today to see what we can do for you.
